LIVE BI-DIRECTIONAL LINK

LiveCount is fully integrated with Accubid Estimating and ChangeOrder solutions and features a two-way, live link between the raster drawing and the Accubid job. Takeoff edits can be initiated from the LiveCount side and automatically update the audit trail when quantities are changed in LiveCount. Since there is no need to import or export takeoffs or breakdowns, that translates into money and time savings. Sophisticated file management and drawing legends also allow users to coordinate and organize projects on the fly.

POWERFUL DRAWING CONTROLS

LiveCount measures takeoffs across multiple drawings so that the quantity list will show page and overall totals. Different versions of the same image can also be compared so as to identify where the changes have taken place. Advance image processing allows users to rotate and scale the addendum or revision drawing and control what level of grayscale should be converted to black when converting PDF’s to TIF, making the identification of elements such as walls easier to locate in a drawing compare. With incredibly fast redraw time, easy-to-use pan and zoom features give bird’s eye and close-up windows to help with the big picture and small details. Images – complete with takeoff colors and annotations – can be batch printed directly from LiveCount, while continuing to work in the application.

SAVE AS

Scenario: an estimator takes off a floor of a building and then receives notice of an alternate spec or layout for the job. Accubid Classic Estimating now supports the save as of a job connected to a LiveCount project.  The estimator can save as from Accubid and create a parallel project in LiveCount. The alternates can then be quantified while preserving the original bid. The estimator could also use this feature to break the links to LiveCount as the source for takeoffs. This feature is great for bid day when you want to round off quantities before submitting the bid.

LINK/UNLINK & COMBINATION GRAB

Both length and count can be retrieved at the same time from LiveCount in a single pass, cutting takeoff time for branch circuitry in half. Either count, length or both variables can be unlinked from LiveCount providing contractors greater control by allowing manual overrides. Users can also trace non-scaled takeoffs like isometric drawings and one-line diagrams and manually enter the length while marking the run as quantified on-screen.
